This is the intersection of the old railway site of the abandoned Longquan Station and the road leading to the embankment of the Zengwen River. If you stop for a while, you will find that the ears can capture more abundant things than the eyes, and the changes of things in the four directions pass through this moment. When broadcast speakers are placed in the landscape, it is impossible to predict when the silence will be broken. At a specific moment, the sound collected and developed from here will be integrated with the existing sound environment, or stand out in a calm, forming another layer of overlapping auditory paths. Leading to another place in time, but also returning to the present.

The first version is a collage of live recordings recorded in the surrounding areas of Madou Longquan Station in Tainan in January 2019. During the Madou Sugar Industry Art triennial, four-channel broadcast speakers were installed on both sides of the small road where the recording location was. Re-edited and remixed in 2-channel version in December 2022.

"Path"是19年我參與麻豆大地藝術季現地創作的作品，在要安裝作品的現場位置待了兩天，錄下那個位置會聽到的聲音與進行了一些演奏，那裏是廢棄龍泉車站旁的一條小路，通往曾文溪的提岸，路旁兩側都是柚子果園。

主要觸發與啟動整個作品的聲音，是來自風吹動柚子園的鐵絲圍欄，那排鐵絲圍欄不久後就要整面拆除改裝設編織藝術家編織的新圍欄作品，我發現風吹過時，鐵絲圍欄與上面枯乾的植物莖蔓都在搖動，透過電磁拾音器我聽見那搖動產生了奇妙的聲音，而再過不久這聲音與圍欄與上頭的枯死植物都將不再存在，我錄下了那聲音。那裏不只是靠近鐵路與河川的路徑，不只是一條偶爾會有車輛駛過、居民散步的小路，上方總是有飛機低空通過，風會穿過圍欄，柚子園的微弱收音機廣播與看不見的電磁波，我帶去錄音用的卡式錄音帶磁帶，那裏是無數路徑匯集之處，而聲音只是通過。

這個版本是我將原先的四聲道聲音與原始素材重新混音編排的結果。
